Acura has done it again with the all-new 2021 ILX, the sporty and stylish answer to your car buying conundrum. If you need a lot of space and a classy, age-proven brand, the ILX offers many options and trims, no matter your price range. There's also the Premium, Premium A-Spec, and Tech A-Spec levels to choose from, along with the standard ILX. But how do these trims differ? What can you expect to find as the 2021 Acura ILX Packages increase in price?
2021 Acura ILX Features Overview
All four levels of the 2021 Acura ILX will feature a 2.4-litre four-cylinder power plant, putting out 201 horsepower and 180 lb-ft of torque. An 8-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, drive-by-wire throttle control, hill start assist, and front-wheel drive are all standard. Acura has generously maxed out the safety features for all four trim levels. Among these next-generation designs are the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, engineered to more evenly distribute front impact force, reducing the chance of injury to occupants in the event of a road accident. More standard features are anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, brake assist system, and Acura's collision mitigation braking system. They also come with a multi-angle rearview camera and a multi-information display with a colour TFT display. Dual-stage multiple-threshold front airbags and lane-keeping assist system are just a couple more of the safety suite you'll receive. Whatever the trim, you'll get a whole lot of comfort in your new ILX, such as Active noise control, adaptive cruise control, ambient cabin lighting, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. And better yet, they will come with a Bluetooth wireless mobile phone interface with controls mounted right on the steering wheel.

ILX
You'll start to see where the upper levels make themselves known on the inside of the ILX. While all trims have fold-down rear seatback, centre armrest, heated front seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, the higher trims have some more goodies for the extra cost.
Premium
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard starting at the Premium trim, giving you seamless connectivity for your smart devices to pair with the infotainment system. The upper trim levels will boast a few eye-openers in the technology department, as well. Available on the Premium trim is Siri Eyes Free compatibility, enabling you to make calls, send and receive emails and even texts, and everything else you can do on an iPhone.
Premium A-Spec
Perforated Milano premium leather-trimmed seating surfaces, handsomely detailed with contrast stitching and seat piping, look particularly striking next to the metal sport-tuned pedals and A-Spec badged steering wheel. Exterior features starting with the Premium A-Spec feature LED fog lights, sleek side skirts, decklid spoiler, and fearsome-looking 18-inch Shark Grey wheels. The instrument panel is also lit up in red on the A-Spec trims.
Tech A-Spec
Acura has gone all out with the Tech A-Spec, exclusively offering a custom navigation system with voice recognition, an 8-inch display, and HomeLink remote system, giving you control of your home doors, gates, and security system. Another entertainment upgrade you'll receive with the Tech A-Spec is Acura's premium audio system with AM/FM/CD/internet radio, an incredible ten-speaker array, and a hard disk drive to store music. The rain-sensing windshield wipers that automatically activate are only available on the Tech A-Spec trim.
